Story By: JUSTIN SNYDER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway returns this Saturday, April 29th, with another three-division spectacular as part of Mike Cleck Paving and Sealcoating’s Spring Thaw presented by Ramsey’s Car Wash.
Originally scheduled to be a weekend doubleheader, Sunday’s Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series Battle in the Borough has already been cancelled due to expected forecasted rains.
Saturday night will see the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars compete for a whopping $10,000 as part of the rescheduled Spring Thaw event. Also on the card will be the USAC East Coast Wingless Sprint Cars and the Penns Valley Meat Market PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Cars.

Presented by Mike and Penny Cleck, the event dubbed ‘The American Working Man’s Race’, is a give-back to the local drivers putting in the hard work throughout the week to get to the track. It is the same spirit Mike and Penny put forth during their daily lives as local business owners and in the spirit of those who they care most about!
