Story By: BRETT DEYO / FONDA SPEEDWAY – FONDA, NY – One final push. Fonda Speedway is in the running for a $50,000 “Advance My Track” grant courtesy of Advance Auto Parts and NASCAR Roots.
The finalists for the 50 grand are determined via online voting concluding on Friday, May 5.
Three votes per individual are permitted daily.
Should Fonda Speedway earn the $50,000 top prize, structural improvements are planned for the speedway’s iconic covered grandstands in addition to an expanded Kids Club area.
“We know the power of the Fonda Speedway racing community,” speedway promoter Brett Deyo said. “We need your help for one final push to May 5. Please vote daily and encourage all your friends to visit www.advancemytrack.com to vote, as well.”
In 2022, Pa.’s Jennerstown Speedway was the “Advance My Track” $50,000 recipient.
After rain stalled last Saturday’s event, Supply Wagon Rentals presents the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) 360 Sprint Cars for the first time in 2023 plus a full program of Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Montgomery County Office for Aging Limited Sportsman, and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders this Saturday, May 6.
Grandstand admission is $20 (Adults), $18 (Seniors ages 65 and above) and Kids 11 and under FREE.
Pit Admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Fonda Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children 5 and under.
