Duck River’s Biggest Deep Fried 75 Yet Will Feature The Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series August 5th

Story By: BEN SHELTON / HUNT THE FRONT SUPER DIRT SERIES – MILTON, FL – Duck River Raceway Park’s biggest annual race will be bigger than ever in 2023! The 11th running of the Deep Fried 75 on Saturday, Aug. 5 will pay an event-record $20,000 to the Super Late Model winner at the Wheel, Tenn., track and will be sanctioned by the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presented by Sweet Victory Apparel.

Originally scheduled for Oct. 28-29 as an unsanctioned event, the move to Aug. 5 allows the Deep Fried 75 to avoid scheduling conflicts with other major races and replaces a date on the HTF Series that became open when the tour’s event at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., was moved to July 1.

The addition of the Deep Fried 75 to the HTF tour’s schedule will give the series two races at Duck River in 2023. The series will also end its Fourth of July weekend tripleheader at Duck River with a $7,500-to-win show on Sunday, July 2.

Since it was first held in 2012, the Deep Fried 75 has become one of the Southeast’s top annual regional events with a past winners list that boasts national touring stars Billy Moyer, Brandon Overton, and Garett Alberson, plus regional standouts such as Riley Hickman, Josh Putnam, Vic Hill, Jensen Ford and more.

The race becomes the third event on this year’s Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series schedule that pays at least $20,000 to the winner. The first-year tour launched with a $20,000-to-win show at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla., in April and will conclude its season with a $23,000-to-win event at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala.

More details about the event, including support divisions, admission prices, gate times, and more will be announced in the coming days.
