Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports have a lot left on their June plate, and although their recent weekend campaign concluded with a not-so-stellar outcome, scored 23rd at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 10, the Vincentown, New Jersey-based operation has yet to lose focus, aiming big in a hopeful June kickstarter this Friday and Saturday with return visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway.
In addition, Whittall, who has acquired nine top-ten scores on the season, two of which within the top-five, will also work to utilize the coming weekend as a test session for Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek, set to activate on Friday, June 23, at Williams Grove Speedway.
Whittall’s most recent top-five outcome occurred at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 3; he finished third.
“It’s been a wild ride these last few weeks. I’m not sure of our exact Speedweek approach, but we’re going to race as many nights as we can,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, said. “We’re still trying to figure out these new tires. It’s been a struggle in some sense, but we’re getting closer. There’s a lot of season left to find success.”
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with another routine weekend in the Keystone State, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 16, and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 17.
