New Egypt Falls Victim To More April Showers; April 26th Rained Out

Story By: CHRIS MOORE / NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY – NEW EGYPT, NJ – Rain Season.  Another week, another rainout at New Egypt Speedway.

The month of April falls completely by the wayside due to Mother Nature, as the April 26 program joins the April 5 and April 12 shows to be rained out.

“We are just as bummed out as our fans and racers,” Executive Vice President of Operations Chris Moore stated. “Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather, and it just won’t give us a nice Saturday.”

Attention, and the calendar, now flips to the month of May for another try at getting the 2025 championship chase underway.

Saturday, May 3 will see the Modifieds headline the night of racing with the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, Xtreme Diesel Performance, LLC. Street Stocks, Northeast Wingless Sprints, and the Fastline Performance Rookies are all on the card.

For the May 3 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5 p.m. with racing to follow at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $23 for adults, $20 for Seniors (65 and up), and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens (12-15). Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
