In Saturday’s grand finale, which boasted a $30,000 paycheck, Dennis started off his night by posting the twelfth fastest time in Group B during qualifying prior to moving up to finish second in his heat race. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace then battled hard for another possible top ten showing in the 50-lapper before winding up thirteenth at the unfurling of the checkered flag. Dennis is currently tied for tenth in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings exiting the Badger State.
The Dennis Erb Racing team will look to defend their home turf this week in a hectic five day stretch dubbed as “Illinois Speedweek.” The FloRacing Night in America Series lifts the lid to their miniseries with a trio of $20,000 to win shows from May 6-8 in the Land of Lincoln.
