Justin Whittall Continues To Make Noise At The Speed Palace; Sixth At Port Royal Speedway

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – Justin Whittall and his New Jersey-based JW Motorsports are continuing to click, not only adding another top-ten outcome to their 2023 stat sheet, but leading laps in the process, nearly acquiring their first win of the season at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, April 8.

Whittall, ace of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, finished sixth in his Speed Palace visit, battling at the top of the running order early before surrendering the top two spots to Central Pennsylvania hotshots, Devon Borden and Lance Dewease. Although doing everything he could to recover, the former Port Royal winner would eventually fade to just outside the top five, kicking off the early evening program with a heat race victory.

A few hiccups in traffic may have led to his loss of the lead, but Whittall’s speed is obvious, already looking ahead to another visit to the Juniata County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 15.

“Feels great to be in the hunt for another win at Port Royal Speedway. It’s a place we’ve grown more and more comfortable with and I’m confident another victory is within reach. A few things we want to improve on, but we’re right there,” Whittall explained. “I just can’t thank this team enough for their hard work and support. Although we race in Pennsylvania regularly, it’s not easy with a fairly long commute every weekend. But battling at the front makes it all the better.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with another weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country, once again visiting Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 14, followed by a stop at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 15.
