Season Opener At Lebanon Valley Cancelled Due To Weather

Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – Lebanon Valley Speedway was originally scheduled to hold their 71st Season Opener presented by Sayer’s Auto Wrecking and L&M Motors on Saturday. However, overnight rains, wind and cool weather rendered that impossible.

The track made the decision Saturday morning to cancel the racing card. As a result, the season will now start May 6 with a $3500 to win Modified feature sponsored by Dwyer’s State Line Beer & Wine and Sysco. In addition to the Big Block Modifieds, the Sportsman, Limited Sportsman, Pro Stock, Street Stock and 4-Cylinder classes will be in action. Racing is scheduled to start at 6 p.m..
