Story By: RYAN DELPH / KINZER MOTORSPORTS – ALLEN, KY – The Kinzer Motorsports team made the trip to Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Kentucky last Saturday, April 29 for the second leg of the Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series schedule.
Brandon Kinzer, who is the defending Series Champion, clicked off the sixth fastest lap of the 43 Open Wheel Modified entrants during the qualifying session to earn the outside of the third row for the start of the $2,000 to win main event.
The Kentucky-turned-Florida native then ran in the sixth spot throughout the headliner to finish behind only victor Bryan Barber, Adam Stricker, Chris Wilson, Ben Harmon, and Blake Brown. Brandon currently sits a close third in the latest version of the Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series point standings exiting Rockcastle.
