COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Oklahoma Doubleheader Postponed Due To Heavy Rain Forecast

Story By: BEN SHELTON / COMP CAMS SUPER DIRT SERIES – CONWAY, AR – With heavy rain in the forecast for Friday, officials with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) along with officials at Arrowhead Speedway and Tri-State Speedway have made the decision to postpone the Oklahoma doubleheader originally scheduled for this Friday and Saturday to June 9 – 10.

“There’s a 90% chance of rain at Arrowhead Speedway on Friday, and while we might be able to get Saturday’s show run at Tri-State Speedway, our series along with officials from both tracks agreed it would be best to keep the two shows together, so we’ve rescheduled the weekend to June 9 – 10,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan said. “I can’t thank both tracks enough for working with us on the reschedule. It’s the best scenario for the drivers, the fans, and the series.”

The tour will now be idle for the remainder of May before resuming action on June 3 at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) with a $5,000-to-win program.

The tire rule for the event is as follows:
All four tires Hoosier LM20, Hoosier NLMT2 with a right rear option of Hoosier LM30, Hoosier NLMT3.
