Brock Zearfoss Scores Top 10 In Atomic WoO Visit; North Dakota & Minnesota Double Next

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing found some comfort in their recent visit to the highbanks of Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, not only capping their two-day invasion on Friday and Saturday, May 26-27, with a finishing position no worse than 13th, but scoring a top-ten outcome in the process.

The top-ten, which nearly resulted in a top-five until a last corner takeover by Skylar Gee negated the possibility, was the product of a five-position charge, starting Friday’s A-Main 11th before finishing sixth at the final checkers.

Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, would go on to finish 13th at Atomic Speedway the following evening on Saturday, May 27, eventually capping his holiday weekend with an 11th-place performance in Lawrenceburg Speedway’s annual Memorial Day Spectacular on Monday, May 29.

Finding some mid-season rhythm, Zearfoss’ World of Outlaws stat sheet now includes three top-ten performances in 2023, maintaining the ninth position in the current Series driver standings.

“In all, a productive weekend for our team in Ohio and Indiana. I think we were good enough to contend for a podium on Friday at Atomic, but we’ll take the top-ten and move forward. We can build on this and hopefully contend for a lot more,” Zearfoss mentioned. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work. We’re getting into a very busy and competitive stretch of the season. No better time than now to capitalize on positive momentum.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a two-day swing through North Dakota and Minnesota, first paying a visit to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on Friday, June 2, then stopping by Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota, on Saturday, June 3.
