Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Invades Thunder Mountain Speedway Saturday Night

Story By: TOM COUGHLIN / DIRT MODIFIED NOSTALGIA TOUR – FORT JOHNSON, NY – This coming weekend will see the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour in action on Saturday, June 17 as the DMNT will visit the 3/8 mile banked clay oval at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Center Lisle, N.Y. visiting for the first time in 2023.

Drivers from New York, Pennsylvania, and Canada are confirmed to attend. Currently New York drivers seeking the checkered flag and the all important championship points on this weekend include locals Wild Bill Leonard of McGraw, And Ace Prentice of Cincinnatus, traveling a little farther is current DMNT points leader Dan Karl of Rotterdam Junction.

Pennsylvania stars include Scott Peters of Laceyville, and Duane Hiller of Honesdale, who captured the win in May at the Penn-Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Canadian drivers making the long haul are led by Megan Ciglich of Ottawa, Ontario.

Friday night’s event at the 3/8 mile Skyline Raceway Motorsports Park in Virgil, N.Y. was cancelled due to inclement weather. However, the DMNT is scheduled for another event at Skyline Raceway Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
