Zearfoss Consistent In Return To Cedar Lake; 34 Raceway & Wilmot Next Before Venturing East

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Another weekend venture to the Badger State resulted in another consistent effort for Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, concluding Cedar Lake Speedway’s annual Independence Day Spectacular on Friday and Saturday, June 30 and July 1, with 11th and 12th-place performances, respectively, persevering in the weekend opener after being involved in a lap three incident; Zearfoss ultimately recovered.

Although finishing one spot further back, Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, put together a sound preliminary effort in Cedar Lake’s weekend finale, eventually utilizing a runner-up finish during heat race action to qualify for the evening’s dash; the “Jonestown Jet” would go on to finish eighth in the eight-lapper.

“It was a great effort all weekend. Consistency is important and we’ve been able to accomplish that,” Zearfoss explained. “We have a few more events in the Midwest before venturing back east. July’s slate is big and we’re excited for it. Not to mention, we’ll be heading home soon. Having the opportunity to work out of your own shop is always a valuable asset.”
