Story By: RYAN DELPH / KINZER MOTORSPORTS – ALLEN, KY – Brandon Kinzer entered one lone Open Wheel Modified event over the busy Labor Day holiday weekend, as he tackled the annual ‘Baltes Classic’ at the famed Eldora Speedway.
The 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant shelled out a $1,000 winner’s check for the open wheel warriors on Sunday, September 3. Brandon won his heat race at the Rossburg, Ohio facility and later started the 20-lap main event from the outside of the fourth row. BK then advanced past six competitors during the contest to land in the runner-up spot behind only victor Jeff Koz! Full results can be accessed by clicking on www.eldoraspeedway.com.
Next up on the racing calendar for Kinzer Motorsports will be a visit to Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Kentucky this Saturday evening, September 9. The ‘Sandy Adams Memorial’ will be sanctioned by the Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series and a hefty $5,000 top prize will be up for grabs. Brandon will bring the series point lead into Rockcastle on Saturday, as he guns for his second straight Championship.
