Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – With Silver Dollar Speedway’s Gold Cup Race of Champions officially in the books, Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss can now look ahead, set to continue his World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series West Coast Swing with a California doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, September 15 and 16.
The Greatest Show On Dirt will visit Kings Speedway in Hanford, California, and Placerville Speedway in Placerville, California, in respective fashion.
Zearfoss, ace of his own Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, will roll into Hanford and Placerville ninth in the World of Outlaws championship standings, already looking ahead to his return to the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic for an upcoming stretch in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Unfortunately, Brock Zearfoss’ 2023 Gold Cup effort ended in Saturday’s C-Main; he did not qualify for the $25,000-to-win finale.
“Not the Gold Cup we had hoped for. We’ll roll into Hanford and Placerville with a fresh slate,” Zearfoss stated. “We’re definitely excited to get back to Pennsylvania. A lot of big money is on the line at tracks we are most familiar with, so that’s always very motivating.”
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with two more nights in California. First up is Kings Speedway in Hanford, California, for the $21,000-to-win Tom Tarlton Classic on Friday, September 15. The next night takes the tour to Placerville Speedway in Placerville, California, for the 49er Gold Rush Classic.
