Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – It was another stout weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, not only padding the stat book with two additional top-five scores, but doing so in impressive fashion, ultimately opening the weekend with a hard-charging performance in Williams Grove Speedway’s Billy Kimmel Memorial on Friday, September 15.
Dietrich, a Williams Grove Speedway track champion, finished fifth in his hard charge at The Grove, advancing four spots from ninth on the grid. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native would go on to do two better the following evening at Selinsgrove Speedway, eventually concluding the Speedway’s annual Jim Nace Memorial with a third-place performance. “Double-D” started fifth on the 44-lap grid, officially notching his 35th top-five mark of the year, simultaneously increasing his top-ten total to 46.
“A consistent weekend, for sure. We have a few things we need to work on before the Outlaws get here. Our goal is to beat them…I think that’s everyone’s goal,” Dietrich, ace of the Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, #1 Cochran Expressway, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Self Made Racing, No. 48 sprint car, said. “Hats off to this team. It’s been a wild year, to say the least. We got a few more wins left in us. Aiming to get one when the Outlaws are in town.”
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of action in Pennsylvania Posse Country, this time setting aim on Williams Grove Speedway’s Outlaw Tuneup on Friday, September 22, followed by BAPS Motor Speedway’s $10,000-to-win Kevin Gobrecht Classic on Saturday, September 23.
