Halloween Havoc Next For Conley Motorsports This Saturday At Atomic Speedway

Story By: RYAN DELPH / CONLEY MOTORSPORTS – WHEELERSBURG, OH – Rod Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, returned to dirt-slinging action on Saturday, October 21 in the unsanctioned ‘Keystone Cup’ at the sprawling Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania.

A total of 37 Super Late Model competitors signed in to do battle at the Keystone State speedplant and a $23,000 winner’s check was up for grabs.

Rod posted the twelfth quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session before placing fifth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main, Rod was able to gain a few positions during the 60-lap feature to earn an eighteenth place performance.

This upcoming weekend will see both Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) teams in competition at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series will wrap up their 2023 campaign at Atomic on Saturday, October 28. The single-day ‘Halloween Havoc’ program will take place and both Rod and R.J. Conley will be on hand to vie for the $3,000 payday. R.J. is the current point leader at the track, while Rod is in the third spot heading into Champions Night.
