Brandon Kinzer Concludes 2023 Season With Seventh Place Effort In 411’s Leftover

Story By: RYAN DELPH / KINZER MOTORSPORTS – ALLEN, KY – Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team wrapped up their 2023 campaign on Saturday, November 25 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee in the eighth edition of the ‘Leftover.’

A total of 48 Open Wheel Modified competitors took time during the qualifying session and Brandon started his day by laying down the third fastest lap. After starting the 25-lap main event from the inside of the second row, BK fought hard for a top five showing in the $1,000 to win contest before ultimately slipping to a seventh place effort.

During the course of their 2023 season, Kinzer Motorsports entered a total of eighteen events across the states of Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio. Brandon reached victory lane twice on the year – both in Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series competition – and also racked up ten Top Five performances and fifteen Top Ten finishes. He parlayed those two wins into a second straight Cumberland Plateau Series Championship, which was worth an extra $3,500.

The off-season for the #18 team will be a short one, as they plan to return to competition during the 53rd Annual ‘DIRTcar Nationals’ at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida to kick off their 2024 campaign. The DIRTcar Modifieds will be in action at the 1/2-mile, Daytona Beach-area speedplant from Monday, February 5 through Saturday, February 10 – culminating in the Gator Championship finale that will shell out a $5,000 top prize.
