On Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, a pair of $2,500 top prizes will be up for grabs for the Super Late Models. This weekend will also provide important track time for the March 8-9 weekend at Clarksville, which will see a pair of $10,000 winner’s checks on the line to wrap up the ‘Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic.’

During his stint in Florida and Georgia from January 18-February 24, Dennis Erb, Jr. competed in twenty high-profile events at Volusia Speedway Park, Golden Isles Speedway, Ocala Speedway, All-Tech Raceway, and East Bay Raceway Park. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace racked up a single Top Five effort and seven Top Ten finishes. His best performance came on Wednesday, February 7 at East Bay Raceway Park where Dennis placed second in his heat race and fifth in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series A-Main behind only $7,000 winner Tyler Erb, Mike Marlar, Jonathan Davenport, and Daulton Wilson.

With two of the six World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series shows at Volusia Speedway Park succumbing to Mother Nature, Dennis advanced into all four feature events with the tour at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant. His best finish with the national touring series was a seventh place showing in the $15,000 to win ‘Sunshine Nationals’ finale back on January 20. Dennis emerged from “Speedweeks” seventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings.
