Darlington Raceway Oval Decal
The NASCAR Cup Series begins its stretch of three-consecutive races in the Carolinas, beginning with this weekend’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway. Team Penske has four Cup Series victories all-time at the 1.336-mile oval with Joey Logano’s 2022 spring win serving as the organization’s latest at ‘The Lady In Black.’
- Joey Logano, driver, No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang – 14th
- Ryan Blaney, driver, No. 12 Menards/Maytag Ford Mustang – 17th
- Austin Cindric, driver, No. 2 Freightliner Ford Mustang – 25th
HEAR FROM LOGANO: “I felt like we had decent pace in practice, just not enough to push us into the second round of qualifying so there’s still a bit to work on there. We’ll see where we stack up in terms of race pace tomorrow – 400 miles around here gives us a chance to work on some things throughout the day.”
RETURNING TO DARLINGTON: Logano’s 2022 win in the spring race at Darlington marked his fifth-career Cup Series victory from the pole while leading a career-high 107 laps. Logano enters the weekend as one of five active drivers with at least 10 top-10 finishes at the iconic South Carolina venue. Ryan Blaney comes into Sunday with 9th-place finishes in each of his last two starts at Darlington.
MIC’D UP: Joey Logano returns to the NASCAR on FOX booth as a guest analyst alongside Brad Keselowski and Adam Alexander for Saturday afternoon’s Xfinity Series race at Darlington. Coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
