Wall’s Ford Platinum Series At White Mountain’s Ready To Roll With Spring Board 100 Saturday

Story By: WHITE MOUNTAIN MOTORSPORTS – NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH – After a spectacular opening weekend, White Mountain Motorsports Park is ready to roll into Memorial Day weekend with the 6th annual Spring Board 100 on Saturday, May 25 to kick-off the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series!

While the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models headline the show on Saturday, the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division will also be in action!

It’s a dead-heat tie at the top of the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model standings between opening day winner Mike Jurkowski and nine-time King of the Mountain Quinny Welch with 2023 Rookie of the Year Kyle Goodbout currently tied with six-time champion Stacy Cahoon for third! An absolutely stellar 50-lap season opener last Sunday showcased a strong local contingent ready to take on all-comers for the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series this summer. Expected invaders include American-Canadian Tour title chaser Gabe Brown, 2024 Mini Late Model champion Cody LeBlanc, multi-time Claremont champion Ricky Bly and former Flying Tiger champion Tanner Woodard among the top stars.

After the largest single-event car count for the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers since Cris Michaud and Pat Malone purchased White Mountain, defending champion Brandon Gray leads the standings following his dominant performance on Sunday. Among the growing field, three-time champion Shane Sicard is back and looking for number four in 2024, ready to knock Gray off the top of the shelf. 2023 Rookie leader Luke Peters took down his first career podium in Sunday’s wild finale and should be one to watch as his experience grows this summer!

2023 Rookies continue to impress down the line and the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis are far from the exception. Youngster McKenna Merchant finds herself in a one point lead over opening night winner Donnie Baumgardner with the Waterford, Vermonter on a roll after picking up her first career win to cap off last season! The popular four-cylinder division is set to put on a show once again this Saturday.

The Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division also return after fantastic racing on opening night. Former champion Andy Hill is back and on top of the Dwarf standings after taking the lowest point total in twin 20-lap segment competition. A massive field of Kids was split into two features on opening day and with rumors flying that more are coming throughout the season, look for the youth movement to continue to impress on the White Mountain highbanks!
