Story By: THOMPSON SPEEDWAY – THOMPSON, CT – Officials with the Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour have made the difficult and unfortunate decision to cancel Monday’s scheduled Memorial Day Special at Thompson Speedway as well as the opening event for the Outlaw Open Modified Series due to a continued poor forecast for the holiday. Officials will release more information this coming week concerning plans for a replacement date.
“We watched the forecast remain unchanged for a week, hopeful that the sun would shine through for the holiday weekend, but it didn’t turn out that way,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “We felt it best to call it early and allow everyone to make new family plans for the long weekend and hope to see everyone on June 13.”
