Story By: JORDAN DELUCIA / DIRTCAR – MAPLE PARK, IL – Due to persistent rainfall Sunday evening and weather models showing more precipitation into the night, DIRTcar Racing and Sycamore Speedway officials have decided to postpone the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models event to Monday, July 8.
The decision comes with drivers’ and fans’ safety in mind with the wet conditions around the track during race time.
The DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models will now take Monday off before returning to action Tuesday, June 18 at Iowa’s Davenport Speedway for the start of Week 2 of the 39th Hell Tour.
