Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – Lebanon Valley Speedway was scheduled to hold the Small Block Spectacular, a night of excellent racing and a celebration of the history of small block modified racing on the high banks. However, the atmosphere had different plans.
Just after 1 p.m. ET, thunderstorms descended upon Lebanon Valley, drenching the track with heavy rains that wiped out the previous track preparations. With more heavy rains on the way, the track made the decision to cancel the festivities for June 22nd.
The track will be back in action Tuesday night for the annual Eve of Destruction. Gates will open Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET and the shenanigans will start at 6 p.m. ET.
