Jake Drew, Driver, No. 7 Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro:

“First of all, I’ve got to thank my Silver Hare crew guys, they worked their tails off to get this car tuned in. Man, I’m so thankful for them and how hard they worked this week. We had a great car that whole race, I felt like we just kept getting stronger. Sadly, I made some mistakes there at the end, but super happy to be on the podium, and super thankful to Maurice and Laura (Hull) for this awesome opportunity. And, of course, thankful for Cube 3 Architecture for supporting this series, and Trans Am, too, for having us all here.”

Connor Mosack, Driver, No. 57 Silver Hare Racing/PRG Chevrolet Camaro:

“Overall, I’m happy with the day. Obviously, we’d always like to be better, but I think for how the weekend progressed from where we started to ending up with our best finish, so far, I think is good progress and shows the guys kept working on the car all weekend and definitely made gains on it. I feel like once we got going at the end of that first long run, we had a pretty solid car, we just needed a little more short-run speed so we could make up ground on the restarts. But it was a good day and a pretty solid race and maximized the car. Thanks to all the guys for building a fast Silver Hare/Pinnacle Racing car and getting better all weekend.”

Boris Said Jr., Driver, No. 75 HendrickCars.com/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro:

“It was great to get back at it this weekend in the HendrickCars.com/Silver Hare Chevrolet after missing the race at Pittsburgh. Feels like we picked up where we left off at Lime Rock with another solid effort. I had a little issue at the start of the race but we stuck with it and did our best to avoid everything that was going on out there. I’m really happy to have survived the extreme heat here this weekend and look forward to heading to Road America next weekend.”

Laura Hull, Co-Owner, Team Manager, Silver Hare Racing:

“First off, not only was the temperature here at Mid-Ohio extremely hot, so was the competition in the race today. As always, we’re very proud of our entire Silver Hare Racing crew. We couldn’t do any of this without each and every one of them. I’m very proud of Jake Drew, who’s back on the podium, Connor Mosack finishing P5, and Boris Said Jr. finishing P7, all well inside the top-10, and that’s finishing strong. We’re very happy with each and every one of their drives. Mosack is really getting it dialed in as we’re continuing to figure each other out. Boris just keeps pushing and it’s just a matter of time before he’s on the podium for us, also. We’ve got to really thank HendrickCars.com on his car for all of their support there, too. So we’ll move on to Road America, where hopefully the temperature will be a little bit more kind to us. It feels like it’s clearly just a matter of time before we’re standing on that top step of the podium. I’m even looking forward to a 1-2-3 at some point, and with these young men, I see it in their future.”
