High Probability Of Rain & Thunderstorms Doom Sunday’s Spring Nationals Series Beckley USA 100

Story By: RYAN DELPH / SPRING NATIONALS SERIES – MOUNT HOPE, WV – With the high probability of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day on Sunday, June 30, tomorrow’s annual ‘Beckley USA 100’ at Beckley Motor Speedway has been rained out for the second time this year.

Unfortunately with no suitable make-up date available, the $20,053 to win mega-event will not be rescheduled for this year and will have to wait until 2025.

While the Spring Nationals was not able to get a race into the record books at the Mount Hope, West Virginia facility this year due to inclement weather, the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco will start the 20th Anniversary Tour at Beckley Motor Speedway on Friday night, July 12.

The series opener at BMS in a couple of weeks will shell out a $10,053 first place prize. Josh Rice (’21), Cory Hedgecock (’22), and Jimmy Owens (’23) have captured Southern Nationals triumphs at the 3/8-mile oval in previous years.
