Revolutionary 99 at Caraway Speedway Up Next For Sadler-Stanley Racing

Story By: KYLE SOUZA / SADLER-STANLEY RACING – EMPORIA, VA – Sadler-Stanley Racing and the rest of the SMART Modified Tour teams have been off for over a month, but it’s time to get back to work this weekend. On Saturday night, July 6, the SMART stars will compete at Caraway Speedway. Sadler-Stanley Racing will bring three drivers to the battle to compete in the Revolutionary 99-lap race.

Bobby Labonte, a NASCAR Hall of Fame member, rejoins the team for this Caraway event. Labonte competed with the team early in 2024 at Caraway on March 10, finishing on the podium. He has also already competed in a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Richmond for Sadler-Stanley Racing earlier this season. As a multiple-time SMART Modified Tour winner, Labonte will be a threat to compete for the win at Caraway.

Full-time team drivers Luke Baldwin and Jonathan Cash will also be back on the track on Saturday. All three drivers will wheel PSR Chassis entries with sponsorship from Pace-O-Matic.

Baldwin already has a win to his credit in his rookie season on the SMART Modified Tour, driving the No. 7VA to a $20,000 win at South Boston. Baldwin enters Caraway running second in the championship standings. He also competed for Sadler-Stanley Racing at New Hampshire – making his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour debut on June 22 – where he ran inside the top-five until an accident.

Jonathan Cash returns to the team looking to break-out and grab his first win of the season. The first half of the year for Cash has been filled with ups and downs, but the No. 16VA team has been working hard in the shop to prepare for Caraway, and Cash feels confident heading into the North Carolina oval.

The schedule for race day at Caraway includes practice from 3:45-4:30 p.m., followed by Pace-O-Matic qualifying at 6 p.m. and the green flag for the race just after 8:30 p.m. During intermission, there will be a Pace-O-Matic pit party on track from 7-7:45 p.m. for fans to meet the drivers.
