Evergreen Raceway to host Saturday and Sunday action July 20th & 21st

Story By: DINO OBERTO / EVERGREEN RACEWAY – BUTLER TOWNSHIP, PA – Evergreen Raceway moves into the mid-point of the season with activities taking place this Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21.

Saturday afternoon, the Evergreen Raceway 2-Seater Ride-along will be on track. This program is an amazing opportunity for fans to get buckled into an authentic Late Model race car as a passenger and experience real race conditions against other cars.

For a nominal fee of just $50 fans can take part in a controlled 12-lap run against other cars in what is some very thrilling side-by-side action as described by those who have already done the ride.

Each car is equipped with full safety gear and will be piloted by experienced race drivers who are regulars at the track. Four cars at a time will go head to head in each ride segment.

The Evergreen Raceway 2-Seater Ride-along will start at noon and run through 5:00 pm.

On Sunday afternoon it will be a line-up of racing consisting of 4/6-cylinder Enduro, Rotten and Forgotten, Novice, Legends and Bandolero’s plus the kids JuiceBox Division.

The Rotten and Forgotten and Novice classes will be running regular heat and features will full points. The visiting Legends and Bandolero’s will also be doing heats and features. Their events run under INDEX sanction.

The Enduro will be another Gut-n-Go 100-lapper that will cap off the day.

The JuiceBox Division will take to the track during intermission.

Sunday pit admission is $30 and adult grandstand is $12. Kiss 12 and under are FREE. Pits open at 11:00 am with racing starting at 2:00 pm.
