Woodhull Raceway Prepares For Tough Three-Night Stretch To Open Month Of August

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – Woodhull Raceway owner, Nikki Brewer will put her staff to the test in an upcoming stretch of racing.

“The first week in August will be one for the books,” stated Brewer. We open on Saturday, August 3, 2024, with a Regular Super 7 Show in conjunction with the second and final Woodhull hosted North/South Shootout for the Hobby Stocks plus the Annual Modified King of the Ring one-on one elimination event. The show will be presented by Dgien Trucking along with Bradley Supply as well as Carquest MSP Automotive.”

Then just three days later Tuesday, August 6, B H Log Hauling along will market the 3rd Annual Honoring Alice Night with three big classes of competition including a $5,500 to win Modified feature, $4,000 to win Darwin Davis Memorial RUSH Crate Late Model Touring Series event along with a $1,000 to win Empie Street Stock special.

The track will have then have just a few more days to get ready for the Cole Gravel and Trucking and NYSSCA sponsored August 10, Super 7 Show which includes Power Wheels competition.

“This will be a heck of a week for drivers and fans alike. Three block buster shows in a 7-day span. Does not get any better than this.” That once again according to Woodhull Raceway owner/promoter, Nikki Brewer.

On the Saturday, August 3, 2024, card the Super 7 show will feature the headline Insinger Performance Modifieds as they will be accompanied by the Hometown Excavation Crate Sportsman, Empire Crushing RUSH CLM, Southern Tier Customs Street Stocks, Sawyer’s Camper and RV Service Center Hobby Stocks, Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Quad C along with the Wicked Tee’s sponsored Youth Warrior Divisions.

In addition, Sawyer’s sponsored Hobby Stocks will run their second Woodhull Raceway hosted North/South Shootout pitting Woodhull’s finest drivers and teams from the Bradford Speedway in Pa.

The Hobby Stock Division is one of the fastest growing classes of competition not just at Woodhull, but also at race venues across the region that run this popular and super competitive form of race action.
