Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – “Blackjack” Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing put together another consistent effort during the recent weekend, not only securing back-to-back top-ten appearances in starts at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, and Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, but the Higginsville, Missouri, native secured a podium in the process, accomplished in the aforementioned start at Lakeside on Friday, July 26.
Brown, ace of his own Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, Ditzfeld Transfer, Hawk Hunting, No. 21 sprint car, finished third in his podium effort, commencing the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint start from the pole position. Blackjack raced on to lead much of the program, losing command with less than a handful remaining.
The following evening at the “Sprint Car Capital of the World,” Brown finished sixth, improving three positions after starting from the inside of row five. Blackjack’s top-ten total now stands at 17 on the season, seven of which recorded within the top-five.
A victor already this season, as well as a two-time 360 Knoxville Nationals champion (2014, 2023), Brown will return to the Marion County Fairgrounds half-mile in the coming days, aiming to claim throne in the national 360 blockbuster for a second consecutive season.

We put together another sound effort this past weekend and I’m confident that momentum will move right into the 360 Knoxville Nationals.”
