Pocono Raceway’s ’25 NASCAR Cup Date Shifts To June; One Of Amazon Prime Video’s Events

Story By: POCONO RACEWAY – LONG POND, PA – Pocono Raceway will shift its annual NASCAR Cup Series summer date in 2025 to Sunday, June 22, and serve as one of the exclusive races for new broadcast partner Prime Video.

Prime Video will exclusively stream five Cup Series races to conclude the first half of the 2025 season, with The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISITPA serving as the final event among that group.

The move in the schedule will provide Pocono Raceway fans with a shorter wait to see their favorite Cup Series stars in person. The 2025 date will come three weeks earlier than this season’s sold-out Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISITPA that was held Sunday, July 14.

All three of NASCAR’s national series will be part of the weekend once again, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race on Friday, June 20, and NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, June 21.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 NASCAR weekend and available by clicking HERE.

“Pocono Raceway would like to welcome Amazon to ‘The Tricky Triangle,’” Pocono Raceway President Ben May said. “Prime Video’s track record of producing high-quality sporting events paired with Pocono’s unique personality and 50-plus year Cup Series history is something we think the fans will truly enjoy. Our team is excited to be a part of this new chapter in NASCAR broadcast history.”
