Williams Grove’s Friday Falls Victim To Saturation; Make-Ups For Eash Tribute & Dirty Deeds 25 Announced

Story By: SHAWN BROUSE / WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY – MECHANICSBURG, PA – The Eash Brothers Tribute Race for 410 sprint cars and the Dirty Deeds 25 for 358 sprints slated for Friday night, August 30 at Williams Grove Speedway fell victim to rain and wet track conditions.

An attempt to race was made by the track but the effects of Thursday night rains and a persistent early evening drizzle proved to much to overcome.

After polling drivers regarding track conditions, the decision to cancel was made at approximately 7 pm.

The Eash Brothers Tribute Race for 410 sprint cars, honoring the careers of racing brother Darren and Cris Eash, will be rescheduled for early in the 2025 racing season at Williams Grove.

The Dirty Deeds 25 for the 358 sprint cars will be made-up in two weeks, on Friday night, September 13, replacing the 358 Match Race on the original schedule.

Already paying $2,500 to win out of a purse worth nearly $12,000, more money will be added to the Dirty Deeds 25 purse for the make-up date.

The race includes bonus moneys for Hard Charger and Hard Luck drivers, worth $250 each.

There will be no racing at the track on September 6th.
