Story By: MIKE LEONE / RUSH RACING SERIES – FRANKLIN, PA – Morning rain that left the facility saturated and the continued threat of rain throughout the afternoon has forced Tri-City Raceway Park to cancel Saturday’s Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series event.
It marked the 12th time this season weather has either cancelled or postponed Tour events.
Up next will be Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV on Sunday (September 1) for the $4,000 to-win “Cider Jug 40” part of the “Hillbilly 100” with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series live on FloRacing. Pits open at 2 p.m. with warm-ups at 6 p.m. followed by qualifying and racing.
