Dillard paced all 40 laps of the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) main event to record ninth overall win of the 2024 campaign.

“Hats off to the track crew that prepped the surface tonight, they did a fantastic job,” Dillard said. “This CDR Race Car has been bad fast all year and it was flawless again tonight. I want to give a big shout-out to Crystal Club Racing Engines for providing me with a motor to run, excited to get this win for them.”

Cade Dillard trekked to Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas) on Friday evening to pilot his Joel’s Auto Sales No. 97 Modified for the first round of the Bryan Mize Memorial.

With a strong field of 54 Modifieds on hand, Dillard took the checkered flag in his dash before charging from 10th to the victory in his qualifier ahead of Shane Hartline and Triston Dycus.

On the pole for Saturday’s $10,000-to-win main event, Cade dominated the 40-lap feature as he led every lap en route to his eighth Modified triumph of the season.

The victory marked his ninth overall of the 2024 campaign.

Dillard will sit idle this upcoming weekend as the team gears up for a doubleheader with World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series. Saturday’s $15,000-to-win opener at Senoia Raceway is followed by the Alabama Gang 100 at Talladega Short Track on Sunday, which boasts a $35,000 top prize.
