Xtreme Outlaw Midget 2024 Championship to be Determined at Jacksonville Speedway, Oct. 4th-5th

Story By: JORDAN DELUCIA / XTREME OUTLAW SERIES – JACKSONVILLE, IL – A new Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota champion will be crowned at Jacksonville Speedway in October.

The two-day Ron Milton Race of Champions, Friday-Saturday, Oct. 4-5, will serve as the championship finale for the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets – presenting a $30,000 check to this year’s title winner.

Before then, drivers will battle for a $4,000 payday on Friday and then a $5,000 top prize on Saturday.

The Series has made two visits to the 1/4-mile dirt track, so far. Reigning Series champion Jade Avedisian won the Series’ debut race at the track in 2022 and Karter Sarff made a late race pass on Cannon McIntosh to score the win last year.

McIntosh is the current Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series points leader, looking for redemption this year after leading the points most of last year before falling out of the top-three in the last few races of the season. He holds a more than 100-point lead over Ryan Timms going into the two-day Illinois race weekend in September – Southern Illinois Raceway (Friday, Sept. 13) and Highland Speedway (Saturday, Sept. 14).

In his two Series starts at Jacksonville, McIntosh has finished fourth and second. He also has two wins at the track with POWRi. Timms has yet to run with the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets at Jacksonville, but did win a 410 Sprint Car race there last year.
