Story By: STEVEN PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – Due to inclement weather, Ransomville Speedway has been forced to cancel tonight’s racing program. The speedway will be utilizing the already scheduled rain date of Friday, September 13th.
The September 13th program will feature the 7th Annual John Susice Memorial for the Butler Excavating Empire Street Stock Series presented by Neff Landscaping, powered by Cummings Trucking. The Empire Street Stocks Series will be joined by the Big Block/Small Block Shootout for the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, plus the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman.
Fans can receive $1 ice cream at the concession stands by bringing in any donation for the Niagara County SPCA. Dry food, towels, dog bedding, treats, and more will be accepted and will be donated to the SPCA of Niagara.
Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 6pm, and racing getting underway at 7:15pm. For those unable to attend in person, you can catch the action live on Dirt Track Digest TV. Adult grandstand admission is $20, with students aged 12-17 and seniors (60 +) $17, and kids 11 and under are admitted free. All fans 17 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
