Lebanon Valley Speedway Cancelled For September 7th

Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – Unfortunately, the 2024 season at Lebanon Valley Speedway has come to a premature end.

The forecast for this weekend was never particularly great to begin with, but it became clear around 1 p.m. ET that it would be impossible to hold the Cathy Plotz Memorial, or any of the other races on the schedule for the evening.

With the cancellation, the championships are completely decided. Andy Bachetti scores the double in the Small Block Modified class. Tim Hartman Jr. had already clinched the Sportsman title back on Aug. 24. Scott Zehnacker won the title in Limited Sportsman.

In the full fender classes, Zach Sorrentino won the Pro Stock championship when the Aug. 31 card was wiped out. Dave Streibel Jr. wins the Super Street Stock championship. Finally, in the 4-Cylinder class, Jon Shepherd won the Dual-Cam subclass, while Dylan MacLeod won the Single-cam subclass.
