TJ Edwards Leads Flag-to-Flag in Just Foam It OSCAAR Modified Feature At Delaware

Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / OSCAAR – LONDON, ONT – Starting on the front row, TJ Edwards paced all 25 laps en route to winning the Just Foam It OSCAAR Modified feature on Saturday at Delaware Speedway.

A single 10-minute practice session due to weather would also set the starting grid, with an invert based on points and attendance. Edwards timed in quickest, giving him the outside pole alongside fellow championship contender Jason Keen.

Immediately upon the drop of the green flag, TJ Edwards stretched out his advantage over the field to a straightaway en route to a dominating victory. It marks his second straight trip to Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC victory lane after winning at Sunset Speedway last month.

Jamie Cox made his way up into second at the halfway mark, but was unable to advance further and repeat his feat of victory from June. Dale Reinhart completed the podium, with Chris Milwain making the late-race pass on Jason Keen for fourth.

Ryan Dick was sixth, followed by Steve Trendell, Wally Wilson, Mark Hamacher, and Dave Mathers. Mathers pulled off with mechanical issues at Lap 15.

The next race for the Just Foam It OSCAAR Modifieds is at Flamboro Speedway as part of Frostoberfest on Saturday, October 5.
