Brian Brown gears up for Eldora Speedway’s 4-Crown doubleheader with High Limit Racing

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – Padding an already busy stretch in the Eastern Time Zone, “Blackjack” Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with a visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, rejoining High Limit Racing in a two-day 4-Crown Nationals battle that will commence officially Friday, September 20.

Brown, certainly no stranger to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, will roll into The Big E with some recent successes, all of which highlighted with an A-Main qualification for the $175,000-to-win Kings Royal featuring the World of Outlaws; he was scored 19th.

Unfortunately, Blackjack’s recent High Limit Racing ventures ended shy of his team’s expectations, as the Higginsville, Missouri, native missed Lernerville Speedway’s $50,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash main event on Saturday, September 14.

“Things started really well at Lernerville for our Casey’s | FVP team. We had a great heat race effort which put us in a decent position for the feature. We ended up trying a few things, but they unfortunately didn’t help us,” Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, said. “Saturday’s qualifying effort put us in a pretty big hole, and when you get into those positions it can be really tough to recover. We decided to call it a night after the heat race, especially with a lot of racing left out on the road.

“Regardless, we’re ready and excited to get back to Eldora Speedway,” Brown added. “We’ve displayed a lot of speed there and we’re ready to put our notes to work and put together two solid nights.”
