Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / OSCAAR – BRIGHTON, ONT – Ever since the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Hot Rods began going to Brighton Speedway each season, Tyler Hawn has continually put himself at the front of the field. He did that once again, en route to picking up the checkered flag.
A heat runner-up allowed himself to start sixth for the feature on Saturday. He wasted no time, making his way through the traffic to the top spot. From there on, he led the rest of the way en route to visiting McColl Racing Enterprises victory lane. It allows him to extend his points lead to 17 points with two races remaining on the schedule.
Steve McCaw backed up his win at Delaware Speedway with a runner-up ahead of Steve Book, Kenny McNicol Jr., and Connor Ellis.
Ryan Cowan was sixth, followed by Rob Bromley, Brandon Feeney, Thomas Wunsch, Hailey McNicol, John Lavalle, and Jeremy McLean.
Bromley Automotive heat wins went to Steve Book and Kenny McNicol Jr.
The next race for the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Hot Rods is Saturday, October 5 at Flamboro Speedway.
