Race Of Champions “Family Of Series” To Crown Champs At Wyoming Co. Int’l Saturday

Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – PERRY, NY – The Race of Champions “Family of Series” are ready to crown their champions in the traditional “Fall Shootout” at The Bullring” Wyoming County International Speedway in Perry, NY this Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Kevin Timmerman of Ontario, NY, leads Jake Christman of Walnutport, PA, by just three (3) points going into Saturday’s 75-lap finale.

Currently Christman has scored three victories, to Timmerman’s lone win at his home track Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY, but Timmerman’s consistency has given him the top spot in the tightly contested battle.

Joe Mancuso of Buffalo, NY, leads Christman in the Race of Champions Super Stock Series standings. Mancuso seeks to lock up another Super Stock Series crown.

Nick Robinson of Waverly, NY leads Trisha Connolly of Walnutport, PA, by 66 points heading into the “Fall Shootout” Saturday and Robinson is seeking to wrap another Race of Champions FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series championship.

The Race of Champions Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series is also looking to settle it’s championship battle. Jeana Dietz of Holland, NY, currently leads the championship standings over John Sippel of Webster, NY, and Joey VanLare of Williamson, NY. Dietz has two victories this season while VanLare has visited victory lane four times.

The gates will open for fans at 11:30 am with qualifying beginning on “The Bullring” at 2:05pm and feature racing to follow. Tickets for the event can be purchased right on the MyRacePass application.
