Story By: DINO OBERTO / EVERGREEN RACEWAY – BUTLER TOWNSHIP, PA – Evergreen Raceway’s 2-Seater Ride-along or Drive returns on Sunday, November 3, from noon to 3:00 pm.
Last month fans not only got to take the Ride-along but the track also introduced the opportunity to drive the cars and that included either a Modified or Late Model.
“We had a great turnout last month for the 2-Seater event and most everyone wanted to take the drive themselves,” stated track owner/promoter Jason Makarewicz.
“The Modified was a big hit and we’re looking forward to another day where our fans can get out on the track for some thrilling laps.”
Not only was there the choice of either riding along in a Late Model stock car or driving it or the Modified, the track also extended a ride-along in Drift cars as well.
“We invited a few of our Evergreen Drift guys to bring their cars down last month and we did have a few folks who took that ride around our road course and they had a blast,” said Makarewicz.
“We’ll include them again for the November 3 date.”
The Modified drive is $15 per lap while the Late Model is $10 per lap. For those wishing to do the Ride-along the cost is $50. Pricing is similar for the Drift rides.

In the event of inclement weather a rain date of Sunday, November 9 will be in place.
