Scotty Thiel & Premier Motorsports Continue To Mold; All Star Sprint Double At Attica Next

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / PREMIER MOTORSPORTS – SHEBOYGAN, WI – An All Star Circuit of Champions postponement gave Scotty Thiel and Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports another opportunity to test and tune, this time taking the Walker’s Game Ear, Lumber & Things, Professional Plating, Scott Thiel Builders, Stealth Cam, Muddy Outdoors, No. 70 sprint car to the heart of Pennsylvania Posse Country, joining the state’s finest in a pair of tests at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 7-8.

Although the weekend ended shy of their overall performance goals, highlighting their Keystone State visit with an 18th-place score at The Grove, Thiel and Pete Grove are growing more and more comfortable, excited to take their notebook to the first chapter of the 2023 All Star Circuit of Champions points season at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, April 14-15.

The Core & Main Spring Nationals weekend pair will award $6,000 each.

“We’re making steps toward improvement and that’s all we can ask for. Building a comfort level in Pete’s cars is our priority right now. I think once we reach that level, we’ll be competitive anywhere we go,” Thiel, a four-time IRA Outlaw Sprint Car Series winner in 2022, explained. “It’s going to be an exciting year and I owe it all to Pete Grove. He took a chance on me and I’m excited to battle with the All Stars week in and week out. We’re going to come out swinging at Attica.”

The “Big Wheel” Scotty Thiel and Premier Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with Attica Raceway Park’s annual Core & Main Spring Nationals featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. The two-day program will award $6,000-to-win each.
