Chase Randall & TKS Motorsports On The Move With Forward Progress At 34 & Knoxville Raceway

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / TKS MOTORSPORTS – MITCHELLVILLE, IA – Forward progress was the overall theme of the weekend for Chase Randall and TKS Motorsports, not only advancing five positions with the All Star Circuit of Champions at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday, July 21, but eventually outdoing that feat the following evening at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, capping the Saturday night visit with a six-position bump from 15th to finish ninth.

The top-ten score was TKS Motorsports’ seventh of the season, continuing their momentum collection for the forthcoming Knoxville Nationals.

Randall, ace of the Albaugh – Your Alternative/Iowa Barnstormers No. 2KS sprint car who calls Waco, Texas, home, finished 15th in his aforementioned All Star appearance, limited by an abrasive surface that kept late-race passing at a premium.

Adding some extra hype to Randall’s weekend results, for his efforts, the Texan captured Knoxville’s Hard Charger Award for advancing the most feature positions.

“I’m proud of Chase and his efforts this weekend. We don’t have a lot of time before the Nationals, so every lap counts,” Troy Renfro, TKS Motorsports team owner, said. “Our goal is to be in Saturday’s A-Main and ultimately contend for a top-ten or even better. I think we have the potential to reach all of our goals.”
