Linda’s Speedway Announces Cancellation Of May 10th Event Due To Inclement Weather

Story By: MICHAEL BATZ / LINDA’S SPEEDWAY – JONESTOWN, PA – Linda’s Speedway officials have announced the cancellation of the scheduled races for Friday, May 10, as persistent rain continues to affect the area with more inclement weather forecasted.

After successfully hosting three consecutive weeks of racing, the Speedway has faced another weather-related obstacle. The first two race days of the season were similarly rained out, leading to this unfortunate yet necessary decision.

Looking ahead, Linda’s Speedway is excited about the upcoming schedule, which promises to bring thrilling races to Jonestown throughout the remainder of May.

The next event on the calendar will take place on Friday, May 17, showcasing an array of competitive series including the wingless 600 Micro Sprints, Chargers, Modifieds Tour with the Circle M Twin 20’s, and the All Star Slingshots. The Circle M Twin 20’s, featuring the Xcel 600 Modifieds, is an homage to the historic racing at Circle M Speedway, aimed at keeping the spirit of the Auburn, Pennsylvania track alive. Although this year’s related event has been postponed without a set reschedule date, the race continues to celebrate the legacy of the 1/4-mile oval dirt track, because after all, 1/4 mile dirt tracks hold a special place in our hearts!

We thank our fans for their understanding regarding today’s racing and look forward to seeing them at the track on May 17 for the commencement of the next series of races
