Mother Nature Claims Day Two Of Highbank Holdup At Fulton: DIRTcar 358 Mod Series Pushed To June 21st

Story By: DAVE MEDLER / FULTON SPEEDWAY – FULTON, NY – Heavy overnight rain coupled with showers forecast throughout day and evening has led Fulton Speedway and DIRTcar officials to postpone the Saturday, April 29, Jammer’s Sports Bar & Restaurant Highbank Holdup.

The DIRTcar 358-Modified Series Highbank Holdup 60 will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 21. A $750-to-win Industrial Tire of CNY Sportsman Shoutout Outlaw Weekend qualifier for Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman will also be on the card. The $750-to-win Mirabito Four-Cylinder Open will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 22.

“With the rain that has already fallen overnight and plus the chance for more showers this afternoon and evening, the decision was made to save race teams from unnecessary travel expense, especially some of the DIRTcar 358-Modified teams coming from a long distance”, said speedway General Manager Cory Reed.

Fulton Speedway will be back in action this Saturday, May 6th when Compass Credit Union will present the season points opener. On the race card will be the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks.
