Brian Brown Rallies Big In Eldora’s #LetsRaceTwo Finale; Knoxville To Highlight Upcoming Agenda

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRIAN BROWN RACING – GRAIN VALLEY, MO – In all, it was a stout weekend at The Big E for “Blackjack” Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing, not only padding the stat book with their third top-five score of the season, but doing so in grand fashion, and against the Greatest Show On Dirt.

Brown, who is still chasing his first victory of the year, finished fourth in his Eldora Speedway top-five, battling ahead nine positions after starting 13th on the Let’s Race Two finale grid.

Impressive enough, Brown made his progress at a head-turning pace, powering forward to pressure for fourth prior to the midpoint of the 30-lap contest. After a multi-lap tussle, the Higginsville, Missouri, native, who now resides in Grain Valley, secured fourth on lap 17, working by reigning World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year and Indiana native, Spencer Bayston.

Although unable to secure a top-five on Friday, May 5, “Blackjack” opened his weekend at the world-famous half-mile with improvement and speed, qualifying for main event action before jumping ahead three positions from the inside of row ten.

“Overall, a solid weekend for our team. We kinda put ourselves in a hole on Friday, but we battled back with a great result on Saturday,” Brian Brown, driver of his own Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, said. “We had a phenomenal car in Saturday’s A-Main. I was able to go wherever I needed to go and that allowed us to make a ton of progress. Most importantly, this allowed us to build our notebook for the Million and Kings Royal this July.

“We’ll turn our attention back to Knoxville…I’m excited to get back there,” Brown added. “We’re not sure about Friday. We’ll watch the weather and see how things unfold.”

Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with a visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, May 13.
