Eldora, Sharon Setup Exciting Ohio Doubleheader In September For World Of Outlaws

Story By: NICK GRAZIANO / WORLD OF OUTLAWS – ROSSBURG, OH – For the final time in 2023, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will set course for Ohio, targeting two of the most exciting tracks on the schedule.

First, Eldora Speedway for the BeFour The Crowns Showdown, on Friday, Sept. 22, and then Sharon Speedway for the Federated Auto Parts Showdown on Saturday, Sept. 23.

It’ll be the Series’ fifth visit to Eldora – owned by Tony Stewart – this year and second to Sharon – owned by Dave Blaney. In the last race at both tracks, 10-time Series champion Donny Schatz was hoisting another trophy. At Eldora, he was crowned king for the sixth time in his career during the Kings Royal Victory Lane ceremony.

While different sizes, with Eldora sitting at .500 miles long and Sharon at .375 miles, both tracks have become fan-favorites, producing close racing and eye-widening passes.
