Greg Wilson To Revisit The Drawing Board; Attica & Fremont Weekend Potentials

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / GREG WILSON RACING – BENTON RIDGE, OH – It has been a tough start to the year for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, but as any owner or driver will tell you, finding comfort and momentum is no easy task, especially for a new team.

Despite the varying levels of frustration, Wilson remains focused and determined, ready to return to the drawing board with abrupt changes in mind.

“We’ve definitely been up and down, but that’s to be expected in some respect. We knew we were going to experience some changes coming into the new season,” Wilson, driver of the Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 sprint car, said. “We’ll reflect on our recent results and work to make some changes. Our potential is there, it’s just up to us to find it and capitalize.”

In recent action, Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing joined the All Star Circuit of Champions for a Thursday night visit to Atomic Speedway, followed by back-to-back appearances with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Eldora Speedway. Wilson was short of A-Main competition in all three attempts, highlighting the agenda with a forward rally in Thursday’s All Star B-Main.

Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with an Attica Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) pair in northwest Ohio, first visiting Attica Raceway Park on Friday, May 12, followed by a stop at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, May 13.
