Justin Whittall Scores Top-10 Finish At Williams Grove; World Of Outlaws Invasion Looms

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – For the first time in 2023, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, ace of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, found the top-ten at Williams Grove Speedway, and with the Greatest Show On Dirt set to invade the world-famous paperclip in less than a week, there’s no better time than now to develop momentum.

Whittall, a former Williams Grove Speedway feature winner who finished eighth in his most recent appearance, will work to not only defend home dirt in Williams Grove’s upcoming Morgan Cup double, but additionally, score a first-ever Series victory, solidifying a chunk of the $27,000 winner’s share; $10,000 on Friday, May 12, and $17,000 on Saturday, May 13.

With much of his early season success at Port Royal Speedway, Whittall will enter Williams Grove’s Morgan Cup on the back of five top-ten finishes, the best being a sixth at the Port Royal “Speed Palace.”

“We always enjoy it when the Outlaws come to town. They are the best in the world for a reason and we’re ready to give our chances a go,” Whittall stated. “We needed a little bit of a kick before the weekend and we got it with a top-ten finish Friday night. Hopefully we can build on that momentum and show speed right out of the box on Friday.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with back-to-back appearances with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13. The weekend will conclude with the annual Ray Tilley Classic at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, May 14; it is an open event with no sanction.
